Strength & Conditioning

Iron Pirate Strength & Conditioning rankings are based on an athlete’s BEST Power Clean, Back Squat and Bench Press.


Personal maximums are based on the repetitions an athlete performs at a selected weight up to a maximum of six reps.


All reps exceeding six are tossed out and not counted to calculate maximums.


An athlete’s Iron Pirate Rank never goes down as long as they are lifting regularly, even if they have a poor testing day .


However, if an athlete stops lifting for more than a semester, their rankings may go down depending on their testing performance.
